Partiful is a delightful, free way to invite your own contacts to a party — text-first, playful, no app for guests to download. +wellvyl Tickets is built for a different job: selling classes, events, and retreats to a wellness-intent public and membership you haven’t met yet, with producer payouts, tiers, and a 25¢ Kindness Share on every ticket. if your guest list is your phone contacts, Partiful is lovely; if you’re filling a room with new connections, that’s what +wellvyl is for.
THE REAL DIFFERENCE
Partiful is invite-first: you bring the guest list — your contacts, your group chat — and it makes sending the invite a joy. +wellvyl is discovery-first for social wellness — your listing sits in a curated wellness catalog in front of a membership that arrives with intentions, so the room fills with people you didn’t already know. both are easy to set up; the question is who walks in.
a public catalog, not just your contacts.
people join +wellvyl to make connections — then browse classes, events, and retreats to make them real. your listing is discoverable to that demand pool, and you sell to anyone: members and non-members alike.
a producer toolkit, not just an invite.
tiered tickets and add-ons, promo codes, attendee approvals, saved venues, a public producer profile, and share cards — the tools for running paid experiences at scale, not only inviting a group chat.
producer-first payouts.
you’re paid your ticket face value through Stripe Express, released after your event runs — event end plus 3 days. refunds before your event’s start time come out of face value only; the service fee sits on the buyer’s side of the checkout.
THE FEE QUESTION
Partiful’s core is free — creating events, sending invites, its designs — and it added paid ticketing in June 2026, its first real monetization product. free tickets carry no fees for anyone. for paid tickets, Partiful’s fees scale with event size and ticket price rather than a published flat rate, and hosts can see the fee while setting up and choose to absorb it or pass it to guests; processing runs through Stripe (verified July 2026 at Partiful’s help center and launch release).
+wellvyl Tickets charges one service fee: $1.59 + 3.5% of the ticket price, added at checkout and shown as its own line — your buyers always see the fee before they pay, and listing is free.
we’re not going to put a fee table here: Partiful is free at its core and doesn’t publish a flat ticketing rate, so a head-to-head number would be inventing a comparison neither of us can stand behind. the honest difference isn’t the rate — it’s the job. Partiful gets your friends to your party; +wellvyl gets your paid experience in front of people who don’t know you yet.

BUILT-IN GOOD
25¢ from every ticket sold funds Hotline minutes, subsidized community seats, and the Kindness Fund. it’s tallied openly on the public Kindness Ledger — we’re a Public Benefit Corporation, so the math is published, not promised. no equivalent exists on the other side of this page.

genuinely one of the best free invite experiences around — text-first RSVPs with nothing for guests to download, playful designs, reminders and updates that just work, and a core that stays free. for a birthday, a housewarming, a group-chat get-together, Partiful is hard to beat. if your event is your people and a good time, use it happily. if you’re selling tickets to strangers who’ll leave as connections, come where the platform is built for that.
