SweatPals and +wellvyl Tickets both host classes, events, and retreats for wellness communities — but they’re organized around different centers of gravity. SweatPals builds community around the workout. +wellvyl builds everything around making connections: members arrive with intentions, our matching engine introduces them, and your event is where it happens in person. if your work is about who’s in the room — not just what the room is doing — you’re in the right place.
THE REAL DIFFERENCE
SweatPals gives hosts tools tuned for repeat attendance — the workout is the center, and community forms around it. +wellvyl is built for social wellness — the connection is the point, and movement is one doorway among many. your event isn’t content in a feed; it’s where the membership’s intentions get to happen in person.
members with intentions.
people join +wellvyl to make connections — then book classes, events, and retreats to make them real. you’re listing where the intent already lives, and you sell to anyone: members and non-members alike.
the concert.
the club, the media, the shop — every +wellvyl surface points the same direction. a member who reads an article or joins a crew is one tap from your listing.
producer-first payouts.
you’re paid your ticket face value through Stripe Express, released after your event runs — event end plus 3 days. refunds before your event’s start time come out of face value only; the service fee sits on the buyer’s side of the checkout.
THE NUMBERS, FOR COMPLETENESS
SweatPals publishes a 7.0% service fee on its Starter plan and 3.0% on Pro — Pro requires $30,000+ in annual sales — plus $0.99 + 2.9% payment processing on both plans, with no monthly cost (verified July 2026 at priced.sweatpals.com; check their pricing page for current rates). that’s competitive pricing, and we won’t pretend otherwise.
+wellvyl Tickets charges one service fee: $1.59 + 3.5% of the ticket price, added at checkout and shown as its own line — your buyers always see the fee before they pay. listing is free. the figures below are computed by the same formula the live checkout charges with.
run the math and the two platforms land in the same neighborhood — below, at, or above ours depending on plan and price point. at a $25 ticket, SweatPals Pro and +wellvyl match to the cent. that’s exactly why this page doesn’t lead with fees: the difference is what surrounds the sale, not the rate. and rates on either side can change — check both pricing pages before you decide.
one structural note, stated plainly: SweatPals also charges a 20% discovery commission on sales its platform directly drives to your experiences — sales you bring yourself don’t carry it. that’s not a hidden fee; it’s how their marketplace prices the demand it generates. model it in if platform discovery is part of your plan.

total platform fees on one ticket. +wellvyl’s fee is added on the buyer’s side at checkout; SweatPals hosts choose whether processing fees are absorbed or passed to buyers (their published help docs). SweatPals figures computed from their published formulas — Starter 7.0% / Pro 3.0% service fee plus $0.99 + 2.9% processing, verified at priced.sweatpals.com, July 2026; Pro requires $30,000+ in annual sales. their 20% discovery commission isn’t in the table because it applies only to sales their platform directly drives, not to every ticket. +wellvyl figures computed by the live checkout’s fee formula ($1.59 + 3.5%). percentages are total fees as a share of the ticket price.

BUILT-IN GOOD
25¢ from every ticket sold funds Hotline minutes, subsidized community seats, and the Kindness Fund. it’s tallied openly on the public Kindness Ledger — we’re a Public Benefit Corporation, so the math is published, not promised. no equivalent exists on the other side of this page.
