for attendees

what is the difference between an RSVP and a paid ticket?: a free RSVP reserves your spot — no charge. some free events carry a small reservation fee set by the producer; when there is one, it is always shown before you confirm, and it is non-refundable. paid tickets go through checkout like any purchase.
can i get a refund?: on a paid ticket, the ticket price itself (the face value) is refundable until the event’s start time. the service fee — and any RSVP reservation fee — is non-refundable.
where do my tickets live?: in your wallet. sign in and every ticket is there, each with a code to show at the door.
do promo codes work here?: yes — enter your code at checkout. the discount shows on your order summary before you pay.

PRODUCERS

what does it cost to list?: listing is free. a service fee is added at checkout and shown on every order — your buyers always see the fee line before they pay.
can i charge a fee on a free event?: yes — an optional RSVP fee, as a commitment nudge on free events. you set the amount, guests see it before they confirm, and the platform collects it.
how do payouts work?: through Stripe Express. you are paid your ticket face value, released after the event runs — event end plus 3 days.
what happens when an attendee is refunded?: refunds come out of the ticket’s face value and can be issued until the event’s start time. fees are not part of the refund.
can i run promo codes and marketing?: yes — you can create promo codes per listing, and every listing has its own marketing hub in your dashboard to help grow the room.
